Entering your Business Information into ChronoBeans Time Tracking Invoice Program
Adding address and contact info for your invoices
When you install ChronoBeans, the install wizard has you add basic information about your business. See graphic below:
The information added in the install wizard will show up on the ‘My Business Information’ screen below. Before creating your first invoice, you will want to go to Admin/My Business to add your Address, phone, and logo (optional) to be used on your invoice and log. Your business information may be edited at any time.
TIP: Address information will be printed on each invoice. Some small businesses use one of the address lines to include a ‘Make invoices payable to (individual name)’ if the payment should go to the business owner instead of the business name.
ChronoBeans lets you add a Logo to your invoice and work report
You may add a logo to be used on your invoice and work report log or leave the field blank.
- To add a logo press the File Select button to upload a logo file in .jpg, or .png format.
- Recommended logo sizes for ChronoBeans include: 300 x 300 pixels square or 461 x 300 pixels rectangular (L x W) JPG or PNG format. Tip: if possible use a high resolution 300 dpi logo file so that it prints clearly on your invoice. Note: if you do not want to use a logo simply leave these fields blank.
- Indicate your logo shape: Square or long. Check the box if your logo includes your business name. These fields help with the invoice formatting.
- After uploading your logo, go to Admin/Client/Create Invoice to test how the logo looks on your invoice and log. After the test, click Cancel (not Save) unless you are ready to create your invoice.
You may edit and update your business information at any time. The screen may be found in the ChronoBeans Administration screen top navigation menu. Simply click on the Admin menu and select ‘My Business’. More info about Administration screen
